Power of Policy for Healthcare Worker Wellbeing: What Does the Research Tell Us? Webinar
This webinar is part of CPH-NEW's ongoing Total Worker Health Trends: Expert Webinar Series, and will held from 1 to 2 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday, September 26, 2024, via Zoom. CPH-NEW will be collaboratively hosting this installment of the TWH Trends series with our neighboring NIOSH Total Worker Health Center of Excellence, the Harvard Center for Work, Health, and Wellbeing (CWHW). This webinar will feature presentations on two recent studies examining how laws, regulations, and organizational policy impact healthcare workers’ safety, health, and wellbeing. Presenters will include Erika L. Sabbath, Sc.D., from the CWHW and Sundus Siddique, Sc.D., M.B.B.S., M.P.H., from CPH-NEW. Both speakers will discuss research findings related to the impact of these policies on healthcare workers’ mental and physical health, burnout, workability and intentions to leave their job. They will also identify the implications of their findings for future workplace interventions and public policy.
