UMass Lowell offers a wide variety of programs to help you build skills for the role you have today, and to help foster your career growth and personal development.
Thank you to the many staff and faculty who participated this past year in the programs sponsored by Workplace Learning and Development. Last year was certainly challenging and we are delighted that many of you continued to participate in our programs.
Our goal is always to offer programs that support development, promote success in the workplace and encourage even greater participation. These resources include but are not limited to training classes and workshops, management and team development programs, certificate programs and many more.
Most of the courses have a capacity of 20 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is on a voluntary basis, with supervisory guidance. Employees should discuss any training plans and dates with their supervisor to ensure there is adequate coverage. To the extent that it is possible and practical, supervisors should encourage their staff to attend. We also are happy to facilitate any of our programs for your intact team. Please contact our office for more information.
This year, we will continue to offer University Budgeting, UML Brand Pro, and Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Programs as well as the non-certificate programs as listed below:
Please click on each of the different categories under 'View All Programs' for detailed descriptions for all of these programs and all our other programs back by popular demand. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions.
