Family Hawk Talk is a series of programs designed to give parents and families information about resources and opportunities for their UMass Lowell student! Each Family Hawk Talk session is hosted by a UMass Lowell Office and is offered virtually through zoom.
Communicating Up: Hosted by the Centers for Learning, Advising, and Student Success
Wednesday, October 11: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn how to encourage your students to communicate with faculty in a way that promotes learning goals and positive experiences in the classroom. This program will assist you supporting your students’ understanding of the importance of communicating with faculty, staff, and other campus resources. These skills are vital to examine and reflect on, for how students communicate and to build relationships inside and outside the classroom.
