RAMP: Research Academics & Mentoring Pathways

The Francis College of Engineering at UMass Lowell is excited to have you on board!

RAMP stands for Research, Academics and Mentoring Pathways. Starting July 5 and ending August 16, this six-week residential program will allow you to earn your first six credits toward graduation at no cost to you. But it's much more than early enrollment. We will also build skills such as programming, technical writing and communication while providing your very first research opportunity with a professor on campus. You will meet alumni and hear about their pathways to successful careers. Finally, we will take you to leading companies in metro Boston to get a first hand look at the diversity of engineering jobs.

To get you started on the strongest possible footing, we invite you to apply to a summer program for new engineering students called RAMP to Success. RAMP stands for Research, Academics and Mentoring Pathways.
