The Research, Academics and Mentoring Pathways (RAMP) program is a summer jumpstart for new engineering students joining the Francis College of Engineering. RAMP's focus is to help students build a strong community in the College and a pathway that includes research, career and community engagement experience. We are looking for future leaders who want to make a difference and solve the many scio-technical problems our world is facing.
Starting July 7 and ending August 15, 2025, this six-week program will allow you to earn your first course credits toward graduation. But it's much more than early enrollment. We will also help you build skills such as programming, project design, technical writing, communication and team science. You will meet engineers and alumni from different industries and hear about their pathways to successful careers. Finally, you may visit leading companies to get a first hand look at the diversity of engineering jobs.
