Biosketch

Oshadha Ranasingha, Ph.D., works as a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Massachusetts Lowell since Spring, 2019. He joined UMass-Lowell in Fall, 2017 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Currently he is working on functional materials development for printed electronics and additive manufacturing at Raytheon-UMass Lowell Research Institute and Printed Electronics Research Collaborative at UMass-Lowell.

Before joining UMass-Lowell, he received a NSF postdoctoral fellowship to develop inkjet printed high performance transparent conductors. Oshadha has more than 12 years of hands-on experience in the development of novel materials for various applications and more than 5 years of hands-on experience in functional ink development for printed electronics.

Oshadha completed his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at West Virginia University in 2015. Also, he has a Master's degree in Physics (2012) from West Virginia University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics (2008) from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
