Biosketch

Jodi joined UMass Lowell in fall 2021. She is a student in the Leadership in Education Ph.D. program. Jodi helps the Disability Services Office’s new home in Academic Services put student success and retention at the forefront. Jodi has expanded the many ways this office supports students including an enhancing collaboration with faculty and staff, reducing disability stigma and increasing campus-wide disability understanding and appreciation. Jodi’s work experience includes: the founding director of Accessibility Services at Merrimack College, disability specialist at Brandeis University, school counselor at the Learning Prep School, director of Residential Life and Student Services for the Threshold Program at Lesley University and a private practice therapist.
