Sherri Sarrouf is the founder and owner of SLS Fitness in Lowell, Massachusetts, a premier wellness destination she established in 2010. Under her leadership, SLS has grown into a thriving 18,000-square-foot facility dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities achieve their health and wellness goals.
Driven by a passion for empowering others, Sherri has cultivated a welcoming, community-centered environment that offers a diverse range of programs, including strength and conditioning, yoga, boxing, metabolic training, senior fitness, and specialized wellness initiatives. She was among the first fitness professionals to introduce metabolic training to New England and has continued to expand SLS’s offerings to meet the evolving needs of the community. Today, the facility also features a comprehensive in-house physical therapy department and nationally recognized programs such as Rock Steady Boxing for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
Expanding her commitment to whole-body wellness beyond fitness, Sherri founded Dragonfly Café, a 100% gluten-free café created to provide nutritious, inclusive dining options for people with a variety of dietary needs and lifestyles. Through SLS Fitness, she also delivers specialized programming for seniors, Parkinson’s patients, cancer survivors, and pre- and postnatal clients, while extending wellness services directly into local businesses, schools, and community organizations throughout the Merrimack Valley.
With more than 27 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Sherri’s influence extends far beyond the walls of her facility. She is the founder of Fitness For a Cure, a grassroots fundraising initiative that has raised more than $10 million for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her dedication to philanthropy and community service has earned her numerous accolades, including the Boston Celtics Heroes Among Us Award and Saint Jude’s Volunteer Group of the Year recognition.
