Fueled by the "CHIPS and Science Act of 2022,"(pdf) these training modules signify a major first step in reconciling the needs of the research, law enforcement and intelligence communities to pursue trusted relationships in the global research community while minimizing economic and security risks.

NSF has released a series of Research Security and Training modules, which are free for U.S. researchers and institutions. UMass Amherst has a comprehensive Research Safety and Security web page which has been updated to include this information, along with Federal sponsor and agency definitions and guidance.
