Biosketch

Rick currently leads Carestream’s Advanced Materials and Toll Coating Business. The company is a premier provider of contract coating services specializing in the application of aqueous and solvent coatings on flexible substrates for medical imaging, display, battery component, electronic component, medical device, nanotechnology, and imaging products for many flexible substrate advanced material products.

In prior positions Rick founded MultiLayer Coating Technologies by raising private equity funding and purchasing technology and coating assets from Polaroid Corporation. The venture successfully exited in a purchase by another company.

In addition to his current role, Rick serves on the Board of the Association for Corporate Growth and is a Director at NeuCo. Rick has also participated as a Fellow in the New England Clean Energy Council Fellowship Program, where members are selected based on previous success in founding technology ventures, raising capital, and CEO experience. Rick also has experience in domestic and international general management and corporate development positions at Rohm and Haas, now Dow Corporation.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Electrical) from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.
