Advancing Knowledge in the Fields of Health Sciences
The UMass Lowell Health Assessment Laboratory (HAL) aims to be a center of excellence in human health assessment. HAL builds on the strengths from departments in the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences. We perform interdisciplinary research and teaching integrating fields of biomedical engineering, clinical laboratory science, ergonomics, exercise physiology, nutrition, nursing, and physical therapy.
