Her role includes collaborating widely to advance equity and social justice while elevating student and community wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Some of Leslie’s core work and interests are in leadership, identity development, organizational development, Asian Pacific American and Indigeneity issues, equity & access concerns, cultural competency, and allyship. Her previous experiences include supervisory oversight of multicultural programs and service delivery, multicultural leadership development, first generation support, peer mentoring, and DEI training. Much of her career-life has been dedicated to promoting and creating socially just communities and establishing pathways for racial dialogue and finding common ground.

She is excited to be working in a field that is her passion and within a community of advocates and lifelong learners. The many talented students that she meets and the spirit of progressive diversity education and awareness that higher education provides, continually inspire her.  Leslie was born and raised in Hawai'i.
