LOWELL, Mass. – The Greater Lowell Music Theatre, in partnership with the UMass Lowell Center for Arts and Ideas, continues its fourth season this month with Cole Porter’s classic musical comedy, “Anything Goes!”

Performances are Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. in Durgin Concert Hall, located on UMass Lowell’s South Campus at 35 Wilder St., Lowell.

“Anything Goes” is one of the all-time great musicals, revived again and again to terrific acclaim, most recently during the 2013 Broadway season. Combining terrific songs with hysterical comedy and dancing, “Anything Goes” dazzles and delights from curtain up to curtain call. Featuring songs like “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” “You're The Top,” “It's Delovely,” and the famous title tune, “Anything Goes,” the show is a fantastic anchor for GLMT’s 2015 summer season, which continues in July with “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” featuring Eddie Mekka of “Laverne and Shirley.”

“This has been an outstanding cultural collaboration,” said Paul Marion, UMass Lowell’s executive director of community relations and co-director of the Center for Arts and Ideas. “Begun as an artistic start-up with three of our alumni as the founders – Jack Neary, Leon Grande and Donna White – the productions drew 4,000 people to performances last year.”

The upcoming production features GLMT favorites Jessica Dee and Dave Sullivan (“Guys and Dolls,” “Chicago”), John Manning (“Fiddler on the Roof”) and two stunning new performers, Dallyn Vail Bails and Kelly Berman. The show will be directed by Shannon Lee Jones of the Boston Conservatory and “Chicago” choreographer Lisa Pilato-Fuller will stage the two big show-stopping numbers “Anything Goes” and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow.” The show is under the music direction of GLMT co-founder Leon Grande.

“We bring the best of regional talent along with special guests to each show,” said Neary. “We’re excited about the fabulous Cole Porter songs in this show. It’s hit on top of hit.”

Tickets are $35 for regular admission and $30 for seniors, students and for balcony seats. Discounted summer season subscriptions are also available, as are group rates.
