The Office of National Scholarships offers advice and support before, during and after the application process, which can often be time-consuming and complex. Goldwater

  • Description: The purpose of the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation is to alleviate a critical current and future shortage of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians and engineers.

Fulbright

  • Description: The Fulbright grants support an individually designed study/research plan, artistic project or English Teaching Assistantship that will take place during one academic year in a country outside the U.S. 
  • Award: Amounts vary by country but the award covers the following for nine to 12 months: round-trip international flight/transportation; settling-in expenses, baggage allowance, etc.; monthly stipend to cover living costs, accommodation and incidentals; research allowance; language allowance (dependent on country); accident and sickness coverage

Gates Cambridge

  • Description: Gates Cambridge Scholarships are highly competitive full-cost scholarships awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.

  • Description: The Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)/ German Academic Exchange Service is a private, publicly funded, self-governing organization of higher education institutions in Germany.
