Make your mark as a River Hawk and lead where you live. Residence Life is now recruiting Resident Advisors (RAs) for the 2027–2028 academic year.
RAs are student leaders who play an important role in the residential experience at UMass Lowell. They live in the residence halls, build connections with their residents, create opportunities for students to get involved, and help foster safe, inclusive and welcoming communities where students can feel at home. Being an RA is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on your fellow River Hawks while building your own leadership, communication, problem-solving and community-building skills. Residence Life is looking for students from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences who care about people, want to get involved and are excited about contributing to the campus community.
Applications open Tuesday, Oct. 13, at noon and close Friday, Nov. 13, at noon. The application is open to all UMass Lowell students who meet the position requirements. As part of the application process, all candidates must also attend one full RA information session.
