This year, the Learning in Retirement Association (LIRA) will award five $2,000 scholarships to outstanding UMass Lowell juniors and seniors.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award, the applicant must:
- Be a full-time junior or senior student
- Have a grade point average of 3.00 or higher
- Participate in community service and/or extracurricular activities
- Provide a reference from a UMass Lowell faculty/staff member or a community service supervisor
Please note: The LIRA scholarship awards will be applied to the Spring 2027 semester.
Apply for a LIRA scholarship. The application deadline is Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at 5 p.m.
LIRA awards scholarships in early December at the annual LIRA holiday party.
