Academic Peer Advisors are thoroughly trained students who can assist their peers with identifying campus resources, navigating the Student Information System (SiS) and providing UMass Lowell (UML) process tips that only a fellow student can provide.
Among other skills, Peer Advisors can assist with:
- ScheduleBuilder
- SiS
- Advisement reports
- Class search
- Identifying campus offices for process-related questions
- Minor or major exploration
- General help with understanding requirements, such as Breadth of Knowledge, and policies, such as withdrawal deadlines.
