The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) invites faculty who are interested in sharing their expertise with colleagues to consider facilitating a Summer 2026 workshop.
We welcome workshop proposals on a wide range of topics across disciplines and teaching contexts, particularly those that promote innovative, inclusive, and engaging teaching practices.
Summer workshops are typically:
- Held in August
- Conducted via Zoom
- 60 minutes in length
- Eligible for a $300 honorarium
Faculty are welcome to co-facilitate with a colleague.
Whether you have developed an effective teaching strategy, experimented with new technologies, redesigned a course, incorporated AI thoughtfully, or found creative ways to engage students, we encourage you to share your experiences with the UMass Lowell teaching community.
CELT will support facilitators throughout the process and is happy to meet with you to discuss workshop ideas, learning outcomes, engagement strategies, and session design.
