Are you a retired or emeriti faculty or staff member? Are you interested in sharing your retirement experiences and professional insights with undergraduate students?
We invite you to connect with undergraduate students enrolled in HSCI 3060: Introduction to Gerontology through a meaningful online classroom activity. The “Intergenerational Team Talk” consists of a one Zoom session (approximately 60 to 90 minutes) where you will engage in meaningful, guided conversation with a small group of students, about retirement, aging, career transitions and life experiences.
Students have shared positive and encouraging feedback about the initiative, and retirees have also expressed a high level of satisfaction in engaging with students and sharing their knowledge.
For Spring 2026, Zoom sessions are planned to take place between March 23 and April 6. If you are interested and available, either for this Spring or in future semesters, please fill out the Qualtrics form or email Ramraj_Gautam@uml.edu.
