The Learning in Retirement Association (LIRA) is offering five $2,000 scholarships to current full-time undergraduates with junior or senior status enrolled during the 2025-2026 academic year who participated in community service activities, with a grand point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better. Financial need is not considered; however, scholarships must be applied to the Spring 2026 semester.
The application deadline is Friday, November 7, 2025 at 5 p.m.
Scholarship recipients are honored at LIRA’s annual holiday party on December 3, 2025.
Since 1988, the Learning in Retirement Association and university have made lifelong learning a priority. LIRA is currently sponsored by UMass Lowell Community Relations and Alumni Relations.
