The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is excited to announce a year-long, hands-on artificial intelligence (AI) workshop series created in response to faculty requests for practical support. Expect a mix of approachable guidance, examples and collaborative discussion with colleagues across campus. Fall sessions kick off in November, with more gatherings through spring in the Faculty Success Center (University Crossing 140).

Register to attend these workshops. All workshops will take place in-person at the Faculty Success Center, UC-140. They will be recorded and uploaded for future viewing.

We want to hear from you! If a topic fits your experience, volunteer to co-present at one of the listed sessions. We’d love to feature your practices. Reach out to CELT@uml.edu to express your interest in co-presenting or to suggest an AI topic you have been experimenting with in your class.

We look forward to your participation as we build a practical, ethical, campus-wide approach to AI in teaching.

For questions, email CELT@uml.edu. For the full Fall and Spring schedules with presenters see the CELT Workshops page.
