Our team in the Office of Multicultural Affairs is so excited to announce the launch of the STEM Training and Excellence Program (STEP)! This program is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduate students in STEM to advance their academic excellence, professional development, leadership, connections and pathways to research and graduate programs.
Within a cohort of peers, STEP students will complete a series of STEPs to Success each semester. They are designed to create a pathway toward the development of our areas of focus. This includes tutoring, group study, advising, workshops, 1:1 check-ins, career services and events! Our mission is to increase the support that STEM students receive throughout their undergraduate journey and strengthen their foundation for future success.
STEP offers numerous exciting incentives and benefits for its cohort members! Most excitingly is the STEP raffle. STEP students will earn tickets based on the completion of their STEPs to Success. Tickets will be drawn at the end of each semester for the chance to win incredible prizes!
In addition, students who sign-up and complete onboarding by March 31 will be entered into a special raffle for a chance to win the new LEGO Evolution of STEM set!
