Are you preparing a grant proposal over winter break or in the new year? Join the Office of Research Development (ORD) and the Office of Research Administration (ORA) on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET in Alumni Hall for an in-person workshop on successful preparation of grant proposal narratives and budgets.

In this last session of this year’s Grant Proposal Development Workshop series, ORD will highlight the key characteristics of a compelling proposal narrative, identify the primary goals of proposal narratives, and discuss the role narratives play in the larger proposal package. ORA will also present tips for preparing a competitive budget and budget justification. This workshop is focused on best practices for narratives and budgets applicable across a wide range of funding agencies, from federal to foundational sponsors.

Please register to attend the workshop. For questions, please contact the Office of Research Development at rd@uml.edu.
