First-Gen Week @ UMass Lowell is sponsored by the River Hawk Scholars Academy, the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Francis College of Engineering, the Kennedy College of Sciences, the Manning School of Business, the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, the Asian American Center for Excellence & Engagement and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
Attention all faculty and staff: Get your “Proud to be F1rst” or “Proud to Support F1rst” button or sticker by visiting one of the Dean’s offices or the RHSA suite in O’Leary Library – and display it all week! We also encourage faculty to share with students their stories as either as first-generation students themselves or as proud supporters of first-generation college students.
Show your support with the #UMLFirst hashtag. To learn more, visit uml.edu/first-gen-week.
