The Provost’s Office is very pleased to invite all faculty and staff to a Celebration of the Fulbright scholars at UML where we will recognize our former and current Fulbright scholars and learn briefly about some of their ground-breaking scholarship experiences. We will also briefly introduce the history and scope of the Fulbright Programs and how faculty and staff can apply to be future Fulbrighters on Nov. 1, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Refreshments will be served,

The Fulbright Program is the most widely acclaimed and prestigious international exchange program in the world, started in 1946 by Sen. J. William Fulbright. Led by the U.S. government in partnership with more than 160 countries worldwide, the Fulbright Program offers international educational and cultural exchange programs for passionate and accomplished students, scholars, artists, teachers, and professionals of all backgrounds to study, teach, or pursue important research and professional projects.

Fulbright at UMass Lowell has opened doors for faculty and staff to foster mutual understanding between the United States and other countries. Together we are pushing the boundaries of knowledge and making an impact on a global scale.
