The BFA Candidates in the AIM Concentration are: Benaiah Abasciano, Victoria Arakelian, Logan Carver, Nicholas “Veras” Connolly, Justin Flaherty, Ronald Gladson, Ennio Gonzalez, Megan LeBaron, Nathaly Mateo Peña, Colin Perry, Briar R. Quinn, Alexis Sinotte, Alexander Sirois, Durwin “Dubledoc” Wongwajarachot, and Zheng Joe Zhou.
The BFA Candidates in the Studio Art Concentration are: Deena Brady, Aiden Burns, Brooke Gibbas, Brian Giroux, Kalei Griffin, Cindy A. Nguyen, Tomiko Nicholson, and Ryan Silva.
Our seniors in both concentration majors have spent their entire senior year on their capstone projects which include 3D modeling, digital sculpting, animation, motion illustration, virtual and augmented reality, painting with bleach, oil, acrylic, and gouache, illustration with charcoal, pen and ink, paper cutting, and sculpture. The topics that these projects cover include mythology and folklore, emotion, mental health, body dysmorphia, nature, time, the afterlife and lingering regret, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
The University Gallery and Mahoney hallways. Gallery hours during this exhibition are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. or by appointment. Gallery events are free and open to the public. Visitor parking is available in the Wilder Metered Lot, located at the intersection of Wilder Street and Bachelder Street. Visitors may park in any open campus lot after 4 p.m. The UMass Lowell BFA Degree Program is an accredited visual arts program of professional study in Art & Design that maintains the standards, guidelines and practices established by the National Association of Schools of Art & Design.
