Join the Real Estate Network Association (RENA) in welcoming UMass Lowell alum Greg Sydney '81, who will share his insights on real estate and how he transitioned from an incredible career in engineering to a real estate investor in Boston. This promises to be an engaging discussion with a key leader in Boston real estate.

Greg founded G&E Realty Trust in 1998 and Tri-Capital Development, LLC and Pinnacle Capital Development in 2002, of which he is the chair and chief investment officer, overseeing the acquisition, financing and renovation of multi-family properties and apartments. His goal is to provide affordable housing in the Boston area.

Greg co-founded the Lowell chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and established the university’s first endowed scholarship for NSBE members. As an engineer, Greg worked for several companies, including Boston Scientific Corporation and BD (Becton Dickinson Company). He holds 10 U.S. patents and one Japanese patent.
