The Career & Co-op Center is hosting "Acing the Interview" on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. in Moloney Hall (UCC 260).

Students who plan to seek an internship, experiential learning opportunity, or job within the next year are encouraged to hear directly from alumni and employers about interviewing. The insights shared at this event may also be applicable to interviewing for competitive scholarships and volunteer positions.

Our panelists are David Chando, Jenna Howard and Fallon Stewart.

A 2017 UMass Lowell graduate with a degree in civil engineering, David Chando currently serves as an assistant project manager with Consigli Construction Co., Inc. Chando has prior experience at Rivoli Construction Co Inc, Albanese D&S Inc, and Maine Drilling and Blasting. During his first two years at UML, Chando was a produce clerk at Stop & Shop.

Jenna Howard holds both a Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering (2018) and a master’s degree in highway and transportation engineering (2021) from UMass Lowell. She is currently employed by Jacobs as a highway engineer/assistant project manager and has prior full-time experience at TEC, Inc (The Engineering Corp). In addition to completing a co-op at Green International Affiliates, Howard worked as a receptionist at Benchmark Senior Living while attending UML.

Fallon Stewart, who attended Boston College (BC) and earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in marketing, is a senior recruiter for emerging talent at Wayfair. Prior to joining Wayfair in 2020, Stewart was a human resources intern at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP (a multinational law firm) and was a student employee and intern at BC.
