Recording Your UML Course: Basic / Advanced Lecture Capture Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m.
Want to learn the ins and outs of recording your UML course? Want to learn about more advanced things after recording?
While the basics are an easy process, there are some things you should know for you to succeed. This live, online session will walk you through the process and not only show you the basics but will also go through tips and tricks plus some advanced topics in the 2nd part of the session.
Can’t stay for the entire session? The first half will cover the basics (approx. 60 min.) while the second will cover more advanced topics (approx. 60 min.). Join in when you can!
Here’s what we will cover:
Basics:
- Submitting a recording request via the online system
- Deviate from the standard recording format
- What is recorded in the classroom?
- Simultaneously capturing projected material, the whiteboard or live video
- Sharing the recordings, either a single recording or an entire course
- Captioning
- Upload or make your own recordings
Advanced stuff:
- Editing recordings
- Take out some things (audio/video)
- Add in new slides or new video
- Stripping out live video or the recorded displayed image
- Combining recordings
- Adding in discussions or posing open-ended questions
- Creating quizzes
- Analytics after recordings are posted
