Use the Suitable app to track your involvement in Manning events, workshops, conferences, student organizations and career development activities. As you participate, you earn digital badges that can be shared on LinkedIn or added to your resume to showcase your professional growth.

Start your journey with Suitable today — it takes less than 5 minutes!
- Download the Suitable app (iOS or Android).
- Log in with your UMass Lowell student email.
- Enable notifications and camera access to check in at events.
- Scroll to the Getting Started badge and complete 3 quick tasks.
That’s it. You’ll earn your first points and be on your way to exploring Manning opportunities.
Use Suitable to browse upcoming events, explore badges and track your progress — all in one place. Earn points by attending guest talks, career workshops, company visits and events hosted by our 15+ Manning student organizations. Get involved, grow your network and strengthen your career readiness.
Manning Professional Development Badges
All activities in Suitable align with competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), reflecting the core skills, behaviors and qualities employers value most:

As you complete activities and events in the Suitable app, you earn points that count toward your Manning Professional Development badges, awarded at three tiers:
Tier 1: Complete 50 points across at least 5 different competencies
Tier 2: Complete 100 points across at least 5 different competencies
Tier 3: Complete 200 points across at least 5 different competencies
On your way to these overall badges, you also earn mini-badges within each competency:
Tier 1 mini-badge at 50 points in a specific competency
Tier 2 mini-badge at 100 points in a specific competency
Tier 3 mini-badge at 200 points in a specific competency
For example, earning 50 Leadership points awards a Leadership Tier 1 mini-badge.
These badges make it easy to demonstrate your strengths and tell your professional story.
