Biography

Milissa Moynihan is a Visiting Faculty Lecturer in the UML Manning School of Business, Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her professional background includes experience in Business, Banking and Education. She has 20+ years of business experience working in the Financial Industry as an Officer in a community bank. She is experienced in commercial, consumer and construction lending, and especially in the area of Real Estate both commercial and residential properties. Her past mission was dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and focused on customer relationship development and management. During her tenure in Banking, she was an instructor at the University of MA/Lowell in its Continuing Education Department teaching courses specific to the Financial Industry through the American Institute of Banking. Courses instructed at UML/Manning School of Business are Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Business and Marketing Principles. At the Manning, she is dedicated to her students and is involved in several student organizations and experiential learning programs. Moynihan is a graduate of Merrimack College, 1982 (BSBA/Marketing), and the University of Mass/Lowell, 1989 (MBA/Finance). She is a long-time, involved and dedicated resident and member of the Greater Lowell community. Milissa is involved with several non-profit organizations, among which is Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm (Andover, MA), where she is a member of the Executive Board in the capacity of Treasurer.
