Sarah Eisenklam began at UMass Lowell as a web content coordinator in 2012 and is currently senior associate director. As a member of the Digital Strategy team, she ensures alignment between the academic catalog and marketing pages and strives to create accessible, readable and usable web content. She previously facilitated the MarCom's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group. She also manages and mentors work-study students, interns and scholars. Sarah and her colleagues created Digital Content 101, a presentation to educate about best web practices, and has presented to over 200 faculty and staff throughout the university.
Sarah serves as an Office of Faculty Equity and Retention ambassador, a new employee orientation leader and is a River Hawk Scholars Academy mentor. In 2022, Sarah proudly became a River Hawk by earning her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration.
Previously, Sarah was an assistant literary agent for children's book authors in New York City and a newspaper reporter and editor in Revere and Medford, Mass. before staying home to raise her three children. While at home, Sarah held positions in communications and fundraising on non-profit boards - the Groton Community School and the Groton-Dunstable Education Foundation. She also coached youth and high school girls' lacrosse and served on the Groton-Dunstable Youth Lacrosse League Board of Directors.
Sarah enjoys traveling to wherever her children and friends are, being outdoors, exercising, reading and worshiping the Boston Celtics. She also volunteers at Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell and the Lowell Transitional Living Center.
