The UMass Lowell Center for Irish Partnerships (CIP) strengthens the university’s role as a globally engaged public research institution by advancing collaboration with educational, corporate, and civic partners in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Through joint research, innovation, and faculty and student exchange, the Center connects UMass Lowell, the City of Lowell, and the broader UMass System with Ireland’s dynamic academic and economic landscape — creating pathways for discovery, growth, and shared prosperity.
