Spring Break in Sorrento
A city-as-text course exploring World War II and Italian fascism through literature, history, and the places where these events unfolded. Based on the Sorrentine peninsula, students will visit sites from the Allied invasion to the emergence of postwar democracy, including Pompeii and the beaches of Operation Avalanche.
