This two-course Winter session program, with travel January 10-19, 2026, allows students to earn up to 6 credits, satisfy two honors requirements, two World Ready requirements, and up to three of the four requirements needed to earn the River Hawk Experience Distinction (RHED) in Global Engagement. Enrollment in each 3-credit course carries a tuition charge of $1185.
The course, “Global Energy and Public Health in the Developing World” delivered by Robert Giles will satisfy a STEM requirement.
The course, “Human Rights and Wrongs: Global North Politics and the Struggle for Justice in the Global South” delivered by Jenifer Whitten-Woodring will satisfy a Social Science requirement.
