A killer thank-you to everyone who joined us for the Honors College Murder Mystery Night at the Allen House. We had a record number of sleuths cracking clues and building community! Your detective skills were truly to die for!

Honor Yourself Week

Every Fall, the Honors College offers student the opportunity to pause and learn more about the facets of well-being and taking time to nurture self-care with fun activities with an engaging community of peers.

 The Allen House porch was the perfect venue for open air yoga. Students also got creative at our Button Making Event as they made their own unique button pins to spice up their bags, make a statement, and even show some love for their family and friends.

The Honors College was thrilled to welcome back Moral Courage to campus, and especially Allison Gerrard, who led an engaging and impactful workshop for students, staff, and faculty from across campus.

Fall Fun

Students embraced fall in the Allen House with Pumpkin Painting. Each student painted a few plastic pumpkins with a unique design, showing off their artistic abilities! By the end of the night, each student went home with a new fun Fall decoration to bring back with them to their dorm/home!

Students participated in a fun and engaging game of Jeopardy. Categories included Sports, Music, TV Shows, History, and a special Surprise section. Students created team names and then picked categories that started simple and got more challenging as the night went on. The winning team was awarded prizes at the end!

Students spent their rainy evening this Thursday doing Mehndi at the Allen House! Students had a great time creating stunning henna designs and chatting with each other.

Students spent a cozy afternoon learning how to crochet while sipping on hot cocoa. They worked on learning how to crochet a granny square, the basis for many creative crochet projects.
