- Visit the Admissions Application Status page:
- Log in using the credentials on your Admission letter.
- The first time you log in, you will be prompted to create your own password and to set up a security question.
- Follow the instructions to Accept your Admission and, if prompted, pay your non-refundable admissions deposit. The deposit amount for domestic students will be increased to $300.00, and the deposit amount for international students will be increased to $500.00 USD.
- Between 1 and 2 business days after you have confirmed your acceptance and your enrollment, you'll receive information regarding UMass Lowell (UML) student email account and information about Student Information System (SiS) from the UML Information Technology (IT) Office.
- If you do not receive this email in 1 - 2 business days after confirming your acceptance, you can claim your UMass Lowell credentials:
- Look up your new UML student email address
- Visit the Account Assistance page to set up your new password and multi-factor authentication methods. Once at the site, navigate to "I am claiming my account for the first time."
- Please contact TechServices for any questions regarding claiming your credentials.
*Note: your mailbox will become available to you when registration for the semester opens.
