Biosketch
Edward G. Weeks, Ph.D. completed his B.S. and M.A. in Criminal Justice at the School of Criminology and Justice Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. While there, he has taught multiple courses at the School of Criminology and Justice Studies including corrections, research methods, statistics, and understanding child maltreatment. The concentration of his graduate work is on domestic violence prevention and forensic criminology. He received professional certificates from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in both areas. As a Ph.D. graduate at the School of Criminology and Justice Studies, his dissertation focuses on emerging adulthood, criminal offending, child maltreatment, and criminal justice system outcomes. His other academic pursuits include publishing a book chapter on child maltreatment and being listed as a resident expert of criminology.net . Ed won the University’s 18th Annual Research Symposium’s Poster contest for the school of fine arts and humanities.
