Allison Butterfield

Biosketch

Allison was accepted into UML's Criminology and Criminal Justice Ph.D. program in 2014. Allison received a B.A. in Psychology from Castleton State College in 1998 and earned Master’s degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany in 2002. She spent seven years in Oregon working in juvenile probation and addictions counseling before moving to Massachusetts in 2009. Allison is currently an Adjunct Professor at American International College.

Allison’s primary research interests focus on juvenile delinquency, community corrections and mental illness and substance abuse in prisons.
