Biosketch

I have been in and around education for over 20 years as a parent, Title 1 teacher, 3rd grade Classroom Teacher, an Educational Support Person, a Reading Interventionist, a 4th Grade Remote Teacher, an Academic Interventionist, a Program Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at Merrimack, and now as a Clinical Field Coordinator at UMass Lowell. I live nearby with my husband and have two daughters. Some fun facts: My husband and I jumped out of a plane on one of our first dates. I love live music, and every year we have a backyard concert with various bands and singer songwriters. My favorite mottos - Spread joy and be well. Do what is reasonable. Keep it simple. You are enough. Grow through what you go through. Circle the wagons. It takes a village to raise a child. Words matter. Practice empathy & gratitude. Reach out to those around you who can help and support you. Keep on moving.
