Description
This course offers students the opportunity to engage in the intensive study of various topics in Middle East History. Examples of topics that may be covered include colonialism, nationalism, empire, capitalism, gender and sexuality, environment, technology and science, race, and class. Students will explore this history through reading both primary and secondary sources. They will also pursue their own research project on a topic of their choosing in Middle East history.
