Braven is a non-profit that offers a career-accelerating experience to prepare college students from all backgrounds to land opportunities after graduation.
While new to New England, Braven has worked with more than 14,000 students at universities including Rutgers University-Newark, The City College of New York, Spelman College, Delaware State University, National Louis University, Northern Illinois University, San Francisco State University and San José State University.
Aimée Eubanks Davis, a proud Chicago South Side native and former 6th-grade teacher, founded Braven to address the unfulfilled promise of college for many young people. She saw that college, though considered a sure path to economic mobility, often lacked something crucial as they transitioned from school into the workforce.
