Jean Robinson serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management for UMass Lowell.
She is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management organization, comprised of three primary groups with a staff of 200: Facilities Planning, Design and Construction (campus and space planning, capital projects planning, real estate, design and construction), Operations and Services (day-to-day maintenance, repair, housekeeping, trades, grounds and energy), and Facilities Management Business Operations (procurement, budgeting, asset management and personnel).
Jean has been at UMass Lowell since 2005 and has over 25 years of experience in facility management and daily operations. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, is a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor, Certified Educational Facilities Professional, and maintains a Building Operators Certificate.
Jean is committed to continuous collaboration with the campus community and incorporating student success into the philosophy of the facilities department.
