UMass Lowell Emergency Medical Service provides continuous professional-quality 9-1-1 emergency care to the university community during the academic semesters. During the academic year, we are in service from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
In addition to 9-1-1 response, we also provide standby medical coverage for university and community sports games, concerts, and other special events.
We also provide medical training to community members who need or want to become CPR and/or First Aid certified.
UMass Lowell EMS is staffed by UML students certified as National Registry of EMTs, EMT level, though some providers hold Advanced Life Support Certification as Advanced EMTs and Paramedics. Are you a student or prospective student interested in working with us? See why you should join us today!
