COVID-19 Access Requests

  • All short-term, long-term, and research / scholarship access for faculty, staff and students must be requested through the COVID-19 Building Access Request online application and receive necessary workflow approvals prior to entry.

  • Residential building access (and room access if in River Hawk Village) is granted automatically once a student is assigned and is checked-in. Students who are in quarantine or isolation¬†will temporarily lose their access to enforce the stay in their room.
  • Access to parking is granted once a permit is ordered and approved from the UMass Lowell MyParking website.

Saab ETIC Access

All access to labs in Saab ETIC require the completion of Level 2 Safety Training through the Environmental & Emergency Management (EEM) Office. Please contact the Principal Investigator (PI) of the lab you need access to initiate this process. UCAPS cannot set access to any lab in this facility without approval from the PI and EEM.

All access to common areas (exterior doors, corridors, offices) requires the completion of Level 1 Safety Training. This training is simply the receipt and review of a document to familiarize visitors to the facility about evacuation procedures, emergency response, and identification of alarms. Once the document is reviewed, the Level 1 Safety Training log which is located in the administrative office of Saab ETIC must be signed.
