Mahoney Gallery

The Mahoney Gallery at UMass Lowell is coordinated by the Art & Design Department and showcases current artwork by students within the B.F.A. program as well as selected alumni exhibitions. Programming includes the Foundations show, an annual juried exhibition, Pop-up shows and the Student Art Union Benefit exhibition. Pop-up shows are one-week exhibits spotlighting artwork from the Art & Design program that are organized and curated by B.F.A students.

The Mahoney Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of Mahoney Hall at 870 Broadway Street, Lowell.

Work from and inspired by Laurel McMechan’s Thought Made Visible Class, a seminar based studio course designed to enable students to expand their research in the painting and sculpture disciplines through focused individual investigation.  Featuring the work of Elizabeth Auffant, Victoria Belakhov, Rebecca Dolan, Veronica Iria, Theresa Santana, Danielle Wager, and Austin Wells.
