Engineering Technology Programs
UMass Lowell is the only public university in Massachusetts to offer part-time associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering technology. Offered by the College of Engineering in collaboration with the university’s Division of Graduate, Online and Professional Studies, Engineering Technology programs are designed to provide students with an understanding of the latest technologies and industry trends, while further developing their communication and problem-solving skills.
The university’s Engineering Technology Department meets regularly with an industrial advisory board to discuss the latest industry trends and ensure the curriculum reflects modern industrial practice. Graduates of the program are well prepared to handle the latest issues affecting the industry.

All of the above Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degrees in Engineering Technology are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET.
