Welcome to Cool Science 2016-2017!
Our changing climate presents one of the most important challenges of the 21st century. Science helps us understand how the atmosphere has changed over time and how the future climate might impact our lives. Now, it’s your chance to teach others about the science of climate change through art.
For our 5th annual climate change artwork competition, we want students and teachers to choose one of the following questions to address with their artwork:
- How might your family be affected in the future by a changing climate?
- What are you doing to help stop climate change?
- How do scientists know the climate is changing?
- How are some of the animals in New England being affected by a changing climate?
The top six entries will be displayed on the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) buses in 2017.
