Biosketch
Haley is a research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell working under the advisement of Professor Joey Mead. Her research focuses on additive manufacturing of elastomeric materials, with emphasis on 3D printing rubber for footwear applications and centralized microwave curing of printed components. This work advances manufacturing efficiency by eliminating traditional mold design and fabrication while streamlining curing processes, enabling faster production of durable rubber components for military combat boots used in demanding environments.
