Biosketch

Originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, Ted served as a nuclear trained Electrician's Mate in the United States Navy Submarine Force from 2000 to 2006. Notably, this included two overseas deployments onboard the fast attack submarine, USS Newport News (SSN 750), in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Ted has worked with veterans in higher education since 2008, returning to UMass Lowell in 2025. In his spare time, Ted enjoys outdoor adventures and live music.
